The starting point.
Many businesses in Mauritania still keep their sales in a notebook or on till software designed for other markets: unsuitable interfaces, no support for local mobile payments, and tools that become unusable as soon as the connection is unstable.
What we built.
We designed Yusrr as an installable web app (PWA) that works offline. At sign-up, the merchant chooses their sector (shop, restaurant, grocery, pharmacy and fourteen others) and Yusrr automatically adapts its vocabulary, product fields and indicators. Reports turn every sale into readable statistics, and alerts flag stock shortages or till anomalies. A Freelance mode replaces the till with appointments, quotes and invoices for service providers.
